BTnet is well known for its reliable service and 100% availability Service Level Agreement (SLA), so why should you be interested in resilience?
BT aims to keep you online, all the time, however there are incidents that are out with the control of BT. For example, weather, destructive road works or third-party damage to lines and wires.
If your internet connection is absolutely business critical and you would like an added level of protection against unforeseen issues, resilience options are available.
There are several options available to provide resilience for BTnet including:
- Dual On-Site Equipment, to mitigate failure with the primary router
- Diverse and Separate Site Access Circuits, to provide continuity in the event of any issues with the primary internet circuit
- Two different BTnet Exchange Access Nodes, to protect against any problem with the primary exchange which serves your site
- Separacy within BT's Core Network, to guard against any network failure
The most suitable level of resilience will depend on your company's needs and requirements, which we would be happy to discuss with you. If you would like more information on BTnet Resiliency options, please contact a member of our sales team on 0800 046 3825.
